The current Ballon d'or winner has been battling with injury issues ahead of their various matches in the World Cup group G. He is expected to pivot his national team alongside his playmates through qualification in the on going 2014 World Cup in Brasil.
Their first match saw them being beaten by Germany and a 2-2 draw yesterday with the USA. Group G happens to be the group with toughest opposition and Portugal and Cr7, seems to be struggling with that.
They look forward to playing with the Black Stars of Ghana in their next match. CR7 hasn't been that productive for his team and Country and I believe he has seen the difference between La liga, Champions League etc and the World Cup. I can attest to his team"s in ability to supply and effect passes, injury issues and la liga playmate "Pepe"s red card being Portugal's setbacks.
