Armed Police Storms Golden Tulip Hotel

Armed policemen and BNI personnels storm the premises of Golden Tulip hotel earlier this morning. Incoming reports from Nhyira fm, a Kumasi based radio station clearly confirms the state at the Golden Tulip hotel. In a conversation with one of the worker, he claims this scenario currently in action is as a result of the additional back payment of the workers salary which has not been satisfied as the workers and the Union committee sought the board to pay them in 2013. An agreement was reached that these payments would be catered for in a year's time. Up to now, workers haven't received their back pays yet and various members are being called by security personnels. He went further to say that workers this morning are being served letters which restricts them from entering the hotel premises. His account also stated that an earlier attempt to capture a particular union member proved futile as workers stood out to restrict that action.
This is the latest update now and more will be uncovered as we look deep into the matter..Stay Tuned
